About Moondallah

Situated on 20 picturesque acres just a short drive from Ballarat, Victoria is a hidden treasure.
Moondallah is a Gallery & Café with style, catering for those who like to indulge in leisure activities like bush walking, chip and giggle golf or fishing in our small lake (Dean calls this the Big Dam).

Maybe stroll around our gardens, which have an extensive range of Australian Natives & Succulents, which are also available for sale in pots, or simply sit and relax with a coffee on the deck while watching the birdlife.

The walls in the Café exhibits artworks of a range of artists, which changes on a 3 monthly basis.

The café caters for breakfasts, light lunches and afternoon teas. All of which are cooked in our kitchen, we like to use our own fresh veggies and fruit where possible. The new Owner, Dean, has planted the start of an orchard and various grape vines and canes for future use and sale (couple of years of care and growth required). The café is fully licensed.

Moondallah is owned and operated by Dean who purchased the property from it's creators, Frank & Sue Miller, who in their later years had the vision for Moondallah and decided to share their property with you - the public - Dean plans to do the same while developing other sections of the property for future produce and tourism ideas.

Moondallah opens weekends & public holidays 10am - 5pm in winter, extended days & hours in summer.

We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years' Day & Good Friday.
